The Web Safe Colour Selector

The Web safe (also called browser safe) palette consists of 216 colours, each represented numerically. A Web safe colour may consist of any of the following values, in any combination of 3 pairs: 00, 33, 66, 99, CC, and FF. Try out the colour selector below and see the colour become the background in the right hand frame and it's numerical value appear in the box below the palette. NB This will not work in the Opera V6.x down browsers because the document property, bgColor, was not supported. Opera V7 for Windows can now be downloaded from http://www.opera.com/, which will support this feature.
